"The United States must continue to stand by our close friend and democratic ally. As threats to Israel continue to grow, we must continue to support Israel’s right to defend itself, including its right to enforce a strategic blockade on Hamas-controlled Gaza. In addition, the United States must quickly and strongly implement sanctions against Iran, a nation that seeks to wipe Israel off the face of this earth."
