Dr. Dave Weldon is an American physician and former Member of Congress who served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2009. During his tenure, he was a founding member of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus, alongside Rep. Eliot Engel. Dr. Weldon's vision for establishing the first sister caucus to the Knesset's Christian Allies Caucus was instrumental in the formation of Israel Allies Caucuses in over 50 countries worldwide, fostering international support for Israel.

Following his retirement from Congress, Dr. Weldon continued his advocacy for Israel by joining the board of the Israel Allies Foundation. After the passing of Rabbi Benny Elon, he stepped into the role of Chairman of the Board, where he has worked to strengthen ties between Israel and Christian communities globally. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to promoting Israel's interests and ensuring continued bipartisan support within legislative bodies.
