26. Allen West

Allen West is a former Congressman of Florida, retired military officer, chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, and avid Israel supporter. In his 22 year military career, he served in Kuwait and Iraq. During his time in Congress, he was an active member of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus. As one of Israel’s most outspoken allies on Capitol Hill, he sponsored pro-Israel legislation, visited Israel, spoke at Caucus events and advocated for a united Jerusalem during his term. West has talked about how his Christian upbringing instilled within him a love of Israel. He continues to be an advocate for Israel through politics and grassroots engagement.
