Kathy Branzell serves as President of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, a position she has held since 2019, after nearly two decades on its Board of Directors with prominent Christian leaders. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI). Through ACLI, Branzell engages in initiatives that advocate for Israel. She has been a speaker at the Christian Solidarity Event at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C. and has been outspoken against antisemitism. She has authored five books and has served as a Rapid Response Chaplain for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Russ, and mother to two grown children, Branzell continues to lead interdenominational prayer movements.
