Michele Bachmann

In 2006, Michele Bachmann emerged from state politics to become the first Republican woman from Minnesota elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. During her time in Congress she was well known as a staunch supporter of Israel and was an active member of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus. She has been a tireless advocate for a united Jerusalem and the movement of the U.S. Embassy to the capital city.

I have a tremendous love for Israel, and great admiration for the Israeli people. I am a Christian, but I consider my heritage Jewish, because it is the foundation, the roots of my faith as a Christian.
