Mike Sodrel served as a Member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2005-2007. He served on the Agriculture, Transportation and Infrastructure, Small Business and Science committees. As a Congressman for Indiana’s ninth district, Mike together with his late wife Keta, took a strong stand for Israel and brought a new level of involvement to the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus in Congress.

With the Sodrel’s departure from Washington in 2008, Mike joined the board of the Israel Allies Foundation. He is currently the vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mike and Keta dedicated a tremendous amount of their time and energy to the Foundation, supporting a number of initiatives, including frequently traveling to Israel and Washington to attend events. They worked tirelessly to grow the name and work of the Israel Allies Foundation on Capitol Hill and beyond.
