27. Pastor Yang Tuck Yoong

Pastor Yang Tuck Yoong is the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Singapore and chairman of the Alliance of Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches of Singapore. For years he has been a consistent voice of Christian support for Israel in Southeast Asia.

He has hosted “A Night to Honour Israel” events, written publicly of the church’s solidarity with the Jewish people, and affirmed that “Israel, like any other nation, has the right to defend itself and her borders to prevent another Oct. 7 from happening again.” Yang has described the Christian–Jewish relationship in biblical terms—the Jewish people as the true branch and the church as the grafted branch—and has expressed love for the God of Israel and the Jewish people. In the face of rising global antisemitism, he has chosen to speak clearly rather than remain silent, underscoring that the destinies of the church and the Jewish people are intertwined.
