Jair Bolsonaro

Jair Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and retired military officer who served as the 38th president of Brazil from 2019 to 2022. Following his leave from the army in 1988 after 17 years of service, he was elected first to the Rio de Janeiro City Council (1989), and then for seven consecutive terms to Brazil’s federal Chamber of Deputies from 1991 to 2018. During his presidency, Bolsonaro announced his intentions to move the Brazilian Embassy to Jerusalem.
