9. John Hagee

Pastor John Hagee has spent decades advocating for Israel and strengthening Christian support for the Jewish people, beginning with the first Night to Honor Israel in 1981—long before founding Christians United for Israel. In 2006, he brought together hundreds of Christian leaders to establish CUFI as a national grassroots organization, which has since grown to more than 10 million members dedicated to educating and mobilizing Americans in support of Israel.

Since 1981, Hagee Ministries has donated more than $130 million to humanitarian causes in Israel. In 2018, during Israel’s 70th anniversary year, Hagee was recognized as one of 70 Americans honored for significant contributions to Israel, and that same year he delivered the benediction at the dedication of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.
