20. Mosab Hassan Yousef

Mosab Hassan Yousef is the eldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas. Raised in the movement’s ideology, he later rejected it, converted to Christianity (baptized in secret), and for roughly a decade provided intelligence to Israeli security services that prevented numerous terrorist attacks. His autobiography, Son of Hamas, recounts this journey.

Since leaving the region and receiving asylum in the United States, Yousef has spoken widely about the nature of Hamas, the dangers of Islamist ideology, and the need to support Israel’s right to defend itself. He has described Israel as “the solution” rather than the problem in the Middle East and continues to risk personal safety by telling the truth about the organization that once claimed him. His unique insider perspective and Christian faith make him a distinctive and influential ally of Israel.
