TimesofIsrael: Trump honored with Israel Allies Lifetime Award

The Israel Allies Foundation presented President Donald Trump with its Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual gala dinner on December 11, honoring his longstanding support for the State of Israel throughout his political career.

The award recognized Trump’s pivotal actions during his administration, including relocating the US embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and brokering the Abraham Accords, as well as his recent involvement in peace negotiations with Hamas.

“President Trump’s commitment to Israel has altered the course of history,” said Josh Reinstein, president of the Israel Allies Foundation. “We honor not only his contributions, but the enduring alliance between Israel and its Christian friends around the world.”

In a recorded video message, Trump called receiving the award “a great honor,” asserting that “there has never been a better friend of Israel in the White House.” He highlighted his efforts to negotiate a peace agreement aimed at ending the war in Gaza and securing the release of all hostages.

Addressing former hostages present at the event, Trump said: “I want to congratulate you and thank you for your courage and wisdom. Everything you went through is remarkable, and we are truly grateful to have you back.”

The gala brought together prominent figures of over 30 countries in what the foundation describes as the global faith-based diplomacy movement. Speakers included Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Gila Gamliel, White House Faith Office Pastor Paula White, US Senator Ted Cruz, former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Pastor Larry Huch, of New Beginnings Church in Texas.

The event also drew international representation, including pastors, rabbis and faith leaders. Joel Engel, president of Engel Ministries was as an official guest, representing Brazil. Engel sat alongside Pastor Tom Hess, founder of the Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations, and prominent pro-Israel evangelical leader Lance Wallnau.

“This is a gathering that brings together governments and diplomatic representatives from many nations, as well as Jewish and evangelical leaders,” Engel said. “I was there to convey the Brazilian people’s support for Israel.”

The Israel Allies Foundation gala is an annual gathering, recognized as one of the largest global faith-based diplomacy initiatives.
