15. Pastor Carlito Machado Paes

Pastor Carlito Machado Paes has served at Igreja da Cidade since 1997 and has led the church since 1999. Under his leadership, it has grown to more than 30,000 members, becoming one of Brazil’s leading evangelical churches. He is the founder of the City Church Network and the Inspire Network, a global movement that connects and equips more than 2,300 churches across multiple nations through leadership development, church planting, conferences, and ministry resources.

A passionate advocate for Israel, Pastor Carlito has led numerous tours to the Holy Land and has visited Israel more than ten times. He just recently led a tour of over 50 megachurch pastors to the land. He is committed to teaching the Bible in its historical and geographical context, helping believers deepen their understanding of Scripture and their support for the State of Israel.
