Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a PHD Professor of Mathematics born in Nigeria, turned Pastor and General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, which has branches in close to 200 nations & territories, including 40,000 in Nigeria & 10,000 across the world serving 9 million members globally. He was recognized as one of the 50 most powerful people in the world by Newsweek.

For more than 20 years, he has led countless delegations to Israel, also spoken at the Feast of Tabernacles organized by the ICEJ, donated ambulances to Magen David Adom, and created a business forum for Nigerian and Israeli businessmen and women to further their collaboration.

It is rumored that Pastor Adeboye’s relationship with then President Goodluck Jonathan was the reason Nigeria abstained from voting for a Palestinian State in the United Nations Security Council in 2014. Nigeria was supposed to be the 9th vote needed to block the US veto on the resolution. With Nigeria's abstention, the motion failed with only 8 votes.
