Dr Robert Stearns

As the founder and president of Eagles’ Wings, Bishop Robert Stearns has spent over 30 years mobilizing Christian leaders worldwide in support of Israel. Through his leadership, 35,000 Christians, including 700 pastors from 34 states and 21 nations, have journeyed to Israel, deepening their understanding of its history, culture, and biblical significance.

He is the visionary behind the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, the largest global prayer initiative focused on Jerusalem. Observed on the first Sunday of October, this initiative unites millions of Christians from over 175 nations in intercession for Israel.

Bishop Stearns has cultivated deep relationships with Israeli leadership, meeting with the last five Prime Ministers of Israel. He also founded the Watchmen on the Wall training program and the Israel Experience College Student Program, often called the “Christian Birthright.”

His humanitarian work includes overseeing Abraham’s Bread Feeding Centers in Jerusalem and Tiberias, providing daily meals to Israelis in need. A respected cultural figure, he has performed for four Israeli Prime Ministers and at Carnegie Hall.

Bishop Stearns has received numerous honors for his unwavering commitment to Israel, including the prestigious Jerusalem Award (2024) and others.
